Not sure what to say?

Carl was a very close friend for the years after I met Dorie while we were teaching. David and I became like part of their family. We spent many weekends at Keuka Lake, sailed on their boat , vacationed in the Chesapeake with them o chartered sailboats, and joined family functions . We learned so much from Carl about sailing that it still applies when I am on the water. I cherish my time with Carl, Dorie and the family. I will forever miss them.

Dear Doris and family,
Our family cherishes the wonderful summerdays we were privileiged to enjoy in your company at Keuka Lake. Uncle Carl inspired Adam to start loving fishing, Juliana learned American values, Eva made true friends and I was inspired by Carl´s example and his smooth afternoon Scotch. Carl was a great man in both the US and the Swedish sense of the word. He will remain with us.

We cherish all of the fun times we had with Carl over the years. I got out a small sailboat sketch he gave us one Christmas and put it on the table. About the time of the service, sunbeams lit it.

Cindy,
I am sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Sincere sympathy to you and your family.
