Not sure what to say?

To the Pfeiffer family:
I met Mr. Pfeiffer through a charity I worked for. He helped sponsor me in a marathon I ran for the Arthritis Foundation. He was a very kind and generous man. I am sorry for your loss.

"Dear Jan and Family,

I want to express my deep sorrow on your loss of Carl. I know I said it in
person, and was so glad to be there.

You all have been very gracious to me, particularly during the 80's when I
lived in Houston while both Lucy's coworker and good friend.

Last Saturday felt like I was back there in time, again being welcomed as
part of the family and one that has grown, matured, and produced wonderful
offspring. Thank...

Dear Jan & Family,

I cannot put into words the sadness & sympathy that I would like to express to all of you over your great loss. Memories of our visits with Carl, you & Lucy in Houston bring back such wonderful memories of so much fun & laughter.

Our father thought of Carl as "A man's man"; one that was as competent working on the ranch as he was at being CEO of Quanex. I was impressed by his humbleness; he was so down to earth.

Please know that all of you...

To the Pfeiffer Family:
I would like to extend to you my deepest sympathy for your loss. Mr. Pfeiffer was certainly a wonderful person.

I feel as though I have lost a family member, for Carl&Jan Pfeiffer were truly a member of the Quanex/Gulf States Tube family. Carl was a unique CEO and leader of our company,in that his first concern in company matters was for his extended family...his employees.
Those who followed Carl, and those in power of many of America's largest firms today would do well to emulate him. We will miss you Carl, but you will live in our fondest memories.

Dear Jan and Family
My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you, and I want you to know as a friend, I'll miss him very much.

Kindest Regards

Lou Watkins

To the Pfeiffer Family;
It is with great sadness that I send my deepest sympathy. Carl was a kind and caring man. It was through my sister, Ruth, that my family had the privilege of meeting Carl and spending some time with the Pfeiffer family. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I send my condolences for your loss. I have known Carl for many years thru the Steer Auction Committee. He will be missed by all of us who knew him. He always had a smile and a word of encouragement to all.
