In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Janice, Margie, and family. I did not know Carlene that well, I do know she touched many lives here on earth and I suspect GOD has a great student as HIS apprentice painter. The service at Asbury was the most profound and loving testimony to her "Celebration of Life" I have ever experienced. I felt like I knew her well when I left the service. No one can know what all of you are feeling and how each one of you is processing the grieving. I will continue to keep you in my prayers. What a...

We are sorry that we didn't know you better, but the times we did meet were always enjoyable and we will miss you.

I couldn't have asked for a better sister. My heart is broken. I love you. I miss you, I will see you again sis in God's time. Keep your eyes on all of us. We will always need and lean upon your strength. You are greatly missed!
Love, Margie

I haven't been able to find the words to express my grief for the loss of my dearest friend and sister at heart, Carlene. My only comfort is to know that now she is running on those streets of gold and that I will see her again. Carlene has left footprints on my heart that will always be there. I will cherish the memories of the ten years she was my dear friend and sister in Christ. I will miss her so much.

I did not know Carlene well in High School, but I always thought she was a nice person. Since I have heard all that she has been through and saw the great attitude that she maintained, I am sorry that I did not know her better. It has been inspirational to hear of her strength through the Class of '77 group. Let the peace that she enjoyed comfort you in your loss. Know that she is with her Lord and is healed at last.

Carlene's Family,
Carlene has blessed her family and friends with many special memories. Hold-on to your special memories of her in the days ahead. -- Her classmates from Morgan Co. High School (including myself) have many special memories of her from her teenage years and class reunions that we (I) will always treasure.
