May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Aaron, my sympathies are with you and your family during this time. I have many fond memories of your dad that will be with me always. My best to Elaine, Jesse, Nico, Destiny, Courtney, Debra and all. With love,

To all of you who are the family and friends of Carlos, particularly to Elaine. It is with great sadness that I learned about the passing of our great friend. In the many years we lived in the valley, and I worked at HAP, Carlos was my friend. When developing Walnut Row he was the one I turned to to help build community support. When we lived in Ecuador you joined us there to celebrate our friendship. Although far away, we miss Carlos and wish all of you our very best. David Heflich and...

To the family of Carlos,
I was a Roman Catholic priest assigned to then Sacred Heart (now - Our Lady of Guadalupe) from 1989-1994. I knew Carlos well. He was extremely dedicated to the Latino community and an outspoken advocate for social justice. Recently I interviewed Aaron for a project associated w/ my MSW. I didn't tell him how well I knew his father (as it was another life for me), but it was nice to see that the apple had not fallen far from the tree.
