Not sure what to say?

Carlotta was my friend. When I was 16 I found a posting at the county youth job service to do yard work. It was Carlotta. I took care of her yard until I graduated and went to Chico State. She took such good care of me. She always invited me in for a coke and we would sit in her kitchen and talk. She told the most amazing stories about the 55 flood and trips to Yosemite. She always overpaid me. Sometimes I had to say, "No, Carlotta, that's too much." And it seemed everytime I needed...

Dear Nancy,
You are the most wonderful daughter and friend any Mother could ever wish for. I remember your long distance phone conversations with Mom while you were living in Southern California. It must have been hard for her to have you living so far away, but you always kept in touch and shared each others life path as close confidants and loving friends.
You brought such light into your Mother's life.
I am blessed to have met her and am saddened by your loss.

Hi Nancy,
The picture of your mom looks just as I have always remembered her. She was so much fun during all of our high school and beyond! What a wonderful and caring mother she was to you and to many of us friends. I will remember all of the talks we had around the kitchen table and the endless sleepovers she let us have at your home. These are great memories and I know that you have so many more. My love and prayers to you at this time. Please call or email...you are in my...

Nancy my dear friend,
I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. The grief that I have experienced since Dad has been gone has been overwhelming at times..and it has been the hardest thing I have ever experienced. I will continue to pray that our God will bring you comfort when you need it the most. Please know that I am here for you....and that I do understand too well what you are going through. Call anytime. Hugging you in my heart. Lynnette Reynolds

Dear Nancy, I am sorry for your loss. Reading your Mom's story makes one realize what a full life she lived, and she was blessed to have you as her friend and daughter.

I am also an old schoolmate of Nancy. Mrs. Hunt was one of the moms that all of us kids loved. She knew everybody's name and made us all feel special. Some years ago now I stopped by and saw Mrs. Hunt. I hadn't seen her in at least 25 years, but she remembered me right off. We spent an hour or so visiting, talking about the past and catching up. She met my kids which meant a lot to me and we even got to talk a little fly fishing. What a wonderful woman! Nancy, your mom was absolute aces!

We will miss your mom so very much. Nobody but you, my mom and I will know what we "4 girls" shared over the years. You have our deepest sympathy and friendship always. We love you.

Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
