Carmela Priola DeLuca, 94, a resident of Hempfield Manor, formerly of Wegley, passed away Saturday, March 05, 2016. She was born March 30, 1921 Buono Province of Italy, a daughter of the late Nichola and Filomena DiBiase Priola. Carmela was a member of the Sacred Heart Church and its Rosary Altar Society.

In addition to her parents Carmela was predeceased by her husband Angelo Mario DeLuca in 2012; a sister Rose Marchoni; and a brother Michael Priola.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Ann Clark and husband Ellsworth "Bud", of Greensburg, Mary Jean Sedlacko and husband Thomas of Aspers PA., Linda Joan Palo and husband James of Jeannette, and John A. DeLuca and wife Maria of Export; grandchildren, Karen Iverson and husband Tim, Scott Clark and wife Kim, Christine Biggins and husband Tim, Thomas Sedlacko and wife Susan, and Anthony, Dominic, and Lauren DeLuca; great grandchildren, Kaitlin and Lillian Iverson, Scott Clark Jr., Emily and Nicholas Clark, Jack and Sophie Biggins, and Audrey Sedlacko; a sister Mary Dubrovich of Greensburg; Sisters in law, Irene DeLuca of Irwin, and Catherine DeLuca of Penn; a brother in law Jospeh DeLuca and wife Eleanor of Penn and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carmela's family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the nurses and staff of the Hempfield Manor, D-wing, and the Heartland Hospice, for all of the kind and compassionate care that mom received during her time there.

Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Monday in the John V. Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 228 North 2nd St. Jeannette. The Rosary Altar Society of Sacred Heart will pray the rosary 3:30pm Monday, in the funeral home. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00am Tuesday in the Sacred Heart Church with Fr. Paul A. Lisik as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hempfield Twp. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Heartland Hospice, 3520 Rt. 130, Irwin PA., 15642.
