Carol had a fun spirit, friendly smile, and a big heart. I had the pleasure of working with her in the Living History program at Hearst Castle for over ten years. She had already been in the program for years when I began. Her petite and slender form was able to inhabit many of the elegant 1930s clothes of the collection. I knew Carol first from ASH and then CMC, but more importantly from the Living History program at Hearst Castle. Carol was a kind and sensitive soul, and such an interesting person once you got to know her. There were many facets to her life experiences that few people knew. One day we drove up to Monterey for lunch and drove back through Big Sur, spotting condors overhead. She dearly loved her dog Abby and I hope Abby is now in a loving home.
