Not sure what to say?

Just learned of Carole's and Sam's passing today. I knew Sam since 1967 and worked with him on several projects. Sam was a very astute engineer. I heard about Carole through Sam, but did not meet her until more recently. She helped us sell our Westford residence in the latter half of 2006; her thoroughness and professionalism were the best. It was very meaningful to learn more about her in this obituary. Well done Sam and Carole; may they both rest in peace.

Carole and I were staunch competitors during the first 15 years of my real estate career and business partners for the last 7. I am not only a better person having known her but a more skilled Realtor having worked with her. She was a very complex woman and one of the most generous and compassionate people I have ever met. She left everyone she dealt with a better person. I will miss her.

I just heard from a friend of Carole's death. I moved away from Westford 5 years ago and hadn't seen Carole since then. I was just thinking of her last week and wondering how she was. I had worked with Carole when building two homes there. We shared a love of design and aesthetics (and Wellfleet). She was an elegant woman. I always enjoyed our conversations and admired her taste and grace. Carole was always put together, professional and gracious. One could not help but admire her for...

We send our deepest sympathy and prayers. We will miss her.

Thanks for a wonderful tribute to a woman I didn't know, but wish I had.
Thank s also to the gifted author
of the obit!

I am sorry to say that I never had the chance to meet Carole Franke. Clearly, she had a great sense of humanity and an even better sense of humor. I have never read such a wonderful tribute. My prayers are with her family, but my smiles today were with Carole...as I bought flowers, gave them to someone I love dearly, and talked about my plan to vote (Democrat) on Tuesday. P.S. Life is too short not to jump rope when you get the opportunity...

I am so sorry to hear of Carole's passing. Like many others, Carole sold us our first house (we are still here many years later). At times, when we thought of moving, Carole pointed out all the great things about our home & I'm so glad she took the time to listen to us & even happier that we listened to her. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Please accept our deepest sympathies

Although I only worked with Carole a short time, I will surely miss her spunk. She was truely a unique person, who always made her presence known.
