Carolyn M. Anderson Kennedy Earle, 94, of Sciota Rd., Corry, Pa., died Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the Corry Manor.


She was born June 7, 1925, in Columbus, Pa., a daughter of the late Thurston A. and Hazel I. Perry Anderson.


Carolyn was raised and educated in Columbus, Pa., graduating from Corry Area High School in 1943 and then attended Erie Commercial College. She began working at Corry Jamestown Company as a timekeeper and later at the Corry Area School District, where she worked in the cafeteria for 25 years. Carolyn also worked as the Earned Income Tax Receiver and was the school board secretary for Wayne Township for 10 years.


She was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Corry and formerly of the Abbe Reformed Church and Women’s Guild in Clymer, N.Y. Carolyn was also a past Matron of the Eastern Star and the Retired School Employee Association. She enjoyed genealogy research and gardening.


In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death April 4, 2002 by her first husband, Charles H. Kennedy, and on February 19, 2012 by her second husband, Embert Earle; a brother, Donald Anderson; and a grandson, Charles Richard Kennedy.


Carolyn is survived by two sons, Charles Kennedy and his wife Pamela of Corry, Pa., and Thomas Kennedy and his wife Linda of Mechanicsville, Pa.


She is also survived by three grandchildren, Nathan Kennedy, JoAnn Trowbridge and Charles Kennedy, Jr.; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.


Family and friends may attend call at the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 921 N. Center St., Corry, Pa., on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of the memorial service there at 11 am. Rev. Andy Blystone and Max Bennink will officiate.


Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Corry, Pa.


Arrangements are under the care of the Bracken Funeral Home, Inc., 315 N. Center St., Corry, Pa.
