Not sure what to say?

Carolyn was a much-loved and most entertaining resident at The William Byrd Apartments. She remained an active participant in everything and scooted around here and out into the neighborhood like Dale Earnhardt! Her vibrant personality and upbeat outlook will be greatly missed here. My condolences to her family members: she was a terrific lady.

To the Dark & Corbin Families

I have fond memories of Carolyn Mae when we used to live on Maggie Walker Avenue. I know she is now at rest. Please accept our condolences at your time of sorrow.

S. Victoria Hunt and the Hunt family

I am greatly saddened to hear of the loss of such a dear person. I also had the honor of working with Carolyn at the Museum and can honestly say that she was one of the most genuine and caring persons I have had the pleasure of knowing. I always enjoyed our daily visits and lunches and she always was genuinely interested in our lives. She was much like a mother hen to many of us. She cared about us all very much and we her. She and her family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Bru, Torya & Ronkeisha

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

The Corbin and Dark have our deepest sympathy in this dark hour, but rest assured our God will sustain and keep you. Lean on Him.

I worked with Carolyn at the Museum where we considered ourselves part of a second family. Carolyn was the heart of that family. Her kindness, wisdom and great sense of humor were something we all loved about her. She will be greatly missed.

To My Dear Friend Pam: Words alone can not express how sorry I was to learn of your loss. I know how close you and your mother were. I know the Lord will bless you and your family. You all will continue to be in my prayers.
