Not sure what to say?

I worked with Carolyn at Sellers and enjoyed many discussions with her of books and authors. Her eyes would light up as she talked about what she was reading and always made me want to hear more. I know you will always miss her but how wonderful to have been close to such a special person!

Cyndy & Margaret, I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. Carolyn was a wonderful teacher and a caring individual. What a comfort it was to me when she stepped in to teach my classes for several weeks at Richardson High when I faced cancer treatment. Not only did she teach the research paper, she even graded those papers for me! Now that's a friend. I know that she was a good mother too because I saw that character reflected in her daughters. I have sweet and dear memories of your Mom. I am so sorry for your loss. Your family is in my prayers. God Bless.

I was her substitute many times at Sellers Middle School in Garland. She was one of the most wonderful women that I have ever met. She was a great teacher and wonderful Mother and woman. My sympathy to her family also.

But you will, till I call her back,
take care of her for Me?

She'll bring her charms to gladden you,
and should her stay be brief,
You'll have her lovely memories
as solace for your grief.

I cannot promise she...

Your mom taught with me at Richardson High School. She was always a delight and such a gentle, caring spirit. We frequently talked about travel and, of course, about our students and education. I know your loss is great. As Kahlil Gibran said, joy and sorry are intertwined; and while the loss of your Mom will, no doubt, bring you sorry, those memories shared will always bring you joy.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I worked with Carolyn at Sellers for just a few years. She was such a gentle, loving person with the staff and the students. I loved talking to her about anything and everything. What a wonderful legacy you have had in a mother. Karen Clemons
