Not sure what to say?

Happy birthday mom. I miss you.

RIP to a courageous fighter for truth and justice.

I worked with Carolyn at the BND many years ago. Just before I joined the paper, I was at a competing paper, and remember her at the St. Clair County courthouse digging through those 175,000 tickets that eventually became her award-winning series. She was a tough one, but also very sweet. We were a pretty tight-knit group back then.
She'll be missed.

A caring, wonderful niece. No words available.

I'm so sorry to hear of Carolyn's passing. I meet Carolyn through some of her work associates about thirty years ago. She was a wonderfully fascinating person. I always loved running into her and catching up. I will miss her. My condolences to her family. We are all less for her passing.

I spoke with Carolyn about a month ago, about a book I am planning to write, and she was very encouraging and helpful. My sincere condolences to her family and many friends.

She was tenacious and thorough in her work and a nice person to boot.

My condolences to the family. I worked with Carolyn at the Post. She was always helpful and friendly, and a great reporter. Sorry to hear this news.

She was a joy to work with at the Post-Dispatch. Sending my condolences to your family.
