Carrie Carrington was my mother's twin, in regards to them looking so much alike out of all of the five girls. My auntie was a kind, strong, beautiful woman, and I will always remember the look she would give you when you are not doing what you was suppose to be doing. I wanted to see her in her last days, but I couldn't handle it; because it would be like burying my mother, Edna, her sister all over again. Auntie I loved you very much, and I will miss you dearly.

To LaSharn and James. Mrs. Carrington was everybody's mom! she was the coolest growing up and will FOREVER be missed. This is such a sad sad time.

carrie carrington aka. aunt carrie was a mentor to my wife myrna byrd and a aunt/grandmother to my children and and she always demonstrated strength,courage and kindness towards me.she is truly missed in our house.
