Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry for your family! Katie was a very special lady & i remember her all the time! i have played scrabble & have made her risotto over the years because when i was pregnant with my 13 yo & visited Mary, that's what they did! Katie was an awesome person to know & we are all better having known her!! i love ya like a sister Mary!!

Katie and I found each other in Jr. High, not the most popular kids, we just let each other be ourselves and that's what I loved about her. She introduced me to my husband, Keeta, when we were Seniors in high school and kept in touch on and off through the years. She will always hold a special place in my heart that brings a smile - you were loved, Katie! May God bless your family with smiles through the tears of healing rain as you remember the happier times.

There will never be another character like her. Personality big enough to fill the largest of stadiums; fun, witty, loud, talented, and bright. Dear friend, more like a sister.

I was very sorry to hear of Katie's passing. I hope happier memories, family, and friends bring some comfort during such a difficult time.

Katie lived her life with a fierce commitment to joy. Her M.O. was to find amusement and humor in any given moment, and I feel so lucky to have shared some of those famous moments whenever our paths blessedly converged. Above all, Katie gave of herself generously. A loving, giving and loyal friend, she will be remembered happily and with gratitude by all who knew her.

Dear Licata family,

You have my profound condolences.

Katie was a sprite and a joy. She could sing beautifully, and she could be so bold and bright. She leaves warm memories. Katie was a real good person.

Katie was a sweet soul. She seemed happiest whenever she had the opportunity to sing. I hope she is singing now wherever she may be.

To the Licata Family,
I have many childhood memories of Katie spent in Jr High and in High School. Although I have not seen Katie in such a long time, I will always picture her on stage (any where that may be) belting out some sort of song. She always made me laugh.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
