Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to hear of Mr. Slonaker's passing. I am truly going to miss him. I know that I wouldn't be the person that I am today had it not been for Mr. Slonaker. I first met him in 1975 when I attended Crestwood Elementary School. I was introduced to him when I got into my first fight. I met him along with his faithful friend "the paddle". I really loved Mr. Slonaker; he was fair, honest and he would do anything in the world for you. Rest in Peace Mr. Slonaker and thank you for...

I am so very sorry to learn of Celester's passing and grieve with you. Although my contact with him was brief, I found him to be a dedicated, delightful, and loving person.
God be with you all.

Dear Carol,and family,
I thought that I would just let you know how much my family and I love all of you. Zellie was and always will be one of the best men that I have ever known. Every memory I have about Church Zellie is in it. Zellie will be sorely missed, but definitely never forgotten.
Love always,
Lindsey

I was so sorry to hear about Celester. I went to grade school and Junior High with him. We had the same music teacher, Mr. Gagne. He was one of the nicest people I ever knew. I just found out today he had passed. I know he will surly be missed by everyone who knew him. All of my sympathies are with his family and friends.

Family & Friends,

I deeply regret your loss. I have fond memories of CL from the years at John Marshall.
Peace and Blessings to all.

The Rev. Philip R. Taylor, Deacon
Free Episcopal Church

Dear Mrs. Slonaker,
I am deeply saddened at the death of C.L. He was indeed an inspiraton to all of us in the Chesterfield County Public Schools. I attribute my success directly to C.L.'s guidance and influence. I extend my sympathy to you and your family.

Carol, Allen, and Sarah,
Our prayers and deepest sympathies are with you. I've always thought so much of Mr. Slonaker. Memories go back almost 30 years when he was choir director at St. Andrews and I was in the junior choir. I also remember his time as principal at Greenfield Elementary. He was a wonderful person and touched so many. I am truly blessed to have known him.

Allen, my thoughts are with you and your family during this time of loss. It is never easy when a parent passes. Remember all the good times.

To the Slonaker Family,
I never knew Zellie personally, but I felt like I had known him all of my life. We had only talked on the phone and corresponded by email. My husband was his 2nd cousin. We had a common interest, Genealogy. We wanted to know about the Slonaker family and other family connections. Please know that your family are in our prayers.
