Celina was a hero of mine. I even shared that with Sonia, who I guess I should have placed on a higher pedestal, but knowing the person responsible for her historic and justified rise, I could not. My mother and Celina remained friends until my mother´s passing in 2018. Despite her medical conditions, Celina remained in her second floor apartment tolerated climbing stairs several times a day, and was always prepared for guests. I knew your mother when she had rehab after surgery in 2014? She had an amazing presence. A beautiful, gentle spirit. Inate strength. An ideal patient! I have just finished reading your book My Beloved World and found your mother to be an inspiration. My mom is 86 years old now and living with me and she did not have any schooling but is the smartest woman I´ve ever known.I am so sorry for your loss. Many blessings.
