Not sure what to say?

I lived next door to Charlene and Julie for ten years and loved every minute of knowing Charlene and talking across the fence. I'm so sad to hear of her passing.

Another year of The Tempest

The Tempest Softball Team

If I had to use one word to describe Charlene, it would be chivalrous ..."having the attributes of the ideal knight...gallant, courageous, honorable, courteous, fair, respectful of women, protective of the poor"...a perfect desciption.

Charlene had the uncanny ability to connect with people on the most personal level. She always found great joy in the tiniest things in life...like searching for a little coca cola. I'll never forget her high standard of crisply pressed...

So sorry to hear of your loss. May God be with you during this time of grief.

Julie, we were so shocked to hear of Charlenes passing. We have a lot of good memories of our times together. God bless you, our prayers are with you and family. sammy dillon, linda harper, cape carteret,nc

We had many many years of playing softball with Charlene and also had many many years of good memories. So sorry to hear that she had passed and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and to Julie- we always loved you guys. Charlene was a truly unique person with so much personality and was so much fun to be around. We will never forget those times.
