Not sure what to say?

It was very sad for me to find out that my dear Aunt Charlene had passed. She was the last child on my Mother's side of the family. She was a terrific person with a great sense of humor, warmth and wisdom. She will be missed. Rest in Peace.

I was both stunned and shocked to hear of Aunt Charlene's passing today. She was my favorite aunt and I will always remember her lively and vivacious spirit. The last time we exchanged e-mails she was very excited about a trip to England for Christmas. She was one of only two Van Vliet girls, my mom being the other. They shared a very close bond until my mom passed away in 1978.I will miss you Aunt Charlene. Your spirit will always live on.

Ms. Sterling will always be in the hearts of the staff of the Crozet Library. She was a regular visitor to the library - a lifelong learner and a voracious reader. She generously knit mittens for our holiday mitten drive, shared recipes and book reviews, and provided thoughtful insights gathered from a life lived with humor, a deep appreciation of family and friends, and love (and a love of reading). We will always remember Charlene most fondly, with respect and love.
