Charles "Bill" William Harmening, Sr.

I will miss Uncle Bill. While I rarely was able to spend time with the family growing up Uncle Bill always welcomed me warmly and treated me like I grew up down the street from him. The world lost a gentle and kind man. My condolences to Annie, Julie. Billy and their families.

Bill & I, both hired in at Link-Belt in 1956. Bill retired after 45 years, myself after 52 years. I knew Bill's dad and brother Bob. Bill & I kept in touch on a monthly basis by phone, usually an hour at a time. I will sorely miss those calls. He was a good friend and well-versed on the history of Link-Belt.
