My family were next door neighbors to Mr.(Chuck)Bartlett for 13 years. He was a very kind and sweet man. My children grew up going back and forth to check on him or bring him the pumpkin bread and other goodies he loved so much. If I had something come up,he would gladly let my children sit with him while I took care of it. To me he was the example of graceful living regardless of one's circumstances. We moved away in March of 2004 but we never forgot the kind man next door.
