I love and miss you grandad, Lyla would of loved you as a great grandad... She sees pictures of you and knows who you are to her..

He was a friend, mentor and my cousin. I did not realize that he was gone because we lost touch when I moved back to California when my dad died.(Dewitt) I will truly miss him. I was under General Bussey's command in the 80's. I knew then I was in the company of a great man and a great leader. It was prevalent then and even more so now.

Years of sacrifice and commitment by this great man and his wife. How does one fill such large shoes?

I remember many things about the man I've always counted as a great officer, good friend and outstanding Chief of Public Affairs. I first met him when he was COL Bussey and had come to Alaska as Chief of Staff for what was then the 172d Infantry Brigade. There I learned a lot from him about "doing public affairs" for an organization. I believe everything I know and feel about Command Information in particular came from him and his constant, zealous reminders that the most important...
