Not sure what to say?

I remember Charles well from our days at Eakin all through West, through string classes at school, Youth Orchestra, All State and the rest. Charles was indeed a gentle person and good friend. He will be missed.

I have very fond HS memories of Charles' sweet and gentle smile. Seems like only yesterday and now he is gone.

West High, class of '65

I was a friend of Charles @ West End HS. We both played in the HS orchestra and the other orchestras mentioned in his obit. We shared an interest in music.

He was a very fine person. I am so sorry he has gone. My condolences to his family. The world has lost a fine loving person

Uncle Charles,
You will be remembered for always being there in your own special quiet way with your loving spirit.
Your niece, Aimee

Even though I didn't know Charles, I still remember fondly our friendship with the Dietz family when we lived on West Linden. My condolences to the family.

From elementary school, all the way through high school, Charles and I were classmates, but more than that, friends. I remember birthday parties and school activities growing up, but especially the band at West High School. Go in Peace and Rest in His arms.

So long ago, Charles we were friends and classmates. I always respected your intellect, musical talent and gentle person. Rest in peace and know that you touched many during your time with us. Virginia Carnahan, West End High School Classof 1965
