Not sure what to say?

It was such an honor to have Mr. Driver as a teacher. He was a role model to many. I will always remember him as such a kind, patient, talented and intelligent man. Band class was the only thing I looked forward to in school. He made me excited to want to learn about music. I'm so greatful to have had him as a teacher. He will always be remembered.

Whenever I hear "Imagine" by John Lennon I always think of Mr. Driver and the passion with which he taught us all in the band at A.L. Brown High School. My prayers are with his family and friends during this time. He was so inspirational to all of us.

Chris and I send our deepest sympathies to Pat and the Driver family, We saw you both a few years ago in Garden City, S.C. at the condo in Jasmine Lake. Mickey was always glad to see us and we enjoyed his warm friendship. Condolences to his family.

My condolences to the Drivers. It was a pleasure to play trumpet by Mickey's side for all those years. He was a great player and an even better person. We played together for probably 30 years and I don''t remember a single time that I found him to be difficult, which is saying a lot for a trumpet player! We also got in a few rounds of tennis. His positive impact on peoples' lives will be around for a long time.

Mr Driver was my band teacher at AL Brown high school. He was my favorite teacher and brought inspiration to me during a rough time I experienced. He will truly be missed and I will forever remember all the times he scold while encouraging and guiding me all through high school. My prayers for the family during your time of bereavement.

Class of 2003

Thinking of you and family at this time.

Pat and family I am sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. I have fond remembrance of Herb and Put with the grand children. May you find comfort in the fond memories of such a wonderful man who touched many lives.

Mr. Driver was my trumpet teacher in Middle School and band director for the first 2 years of high school. I remember him as a very patient and methodical teacher. He actively encouraged me to develop my talents to their greatest extent. His lessons in leadership made a lasting impression on me as I carried them throughout my education and career.

I am grateful that he was my teacher. I always thought of him as the model for the directors my daughters had as they pursued their...

I went with Mickey along with a couple other guys to Europe a few years ago. We had a blast and we all enjoyed our trip and time together. We had lots of laughs, told lots of tall tales and enjoyed seeing the countries in Europe we visited. Mickey was such a nice man and it was an honor to know him.
