Not sure what to say?

I am so sad to hear about Chuck's death. He was such an incredible person with a heart of gold. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Group of 10 Memorial Trees

I got to know and appreciate Chuck's wisdom and humor during my years at SLDC. He was a genuinely kind man who always maintained a keen interest in his fellow humans and the city he worked and lived in. Condolences to his family. He will be missed.

Condolences to his family. He was a good person. Very funny and always supportive. Compassion and respect for all.

Chuck was a mentor to me. When I did an internship in the early 1970s with the St. Louis County Department of Planning he was my supervisor. His patient, caring approach to helping me get my feet wet in the profession stayed with my my entire career. I always admired his wisdom and compassion. His passing is a loss to the world.
