Charles Gordon Mendelson

One of the best times of my life was working as Dr. Mendelson´s assistant in his dermatologist practice at 450 Sutter Building in San Francisco in the seventies! He started out creating so many wonderful skin creams for Syntex and then went back to medical school to become a dermatologist! Such a wonderful sense of humor and a very caring and warm person! He used to make us the best homemade dill pickles! A very big loss to the community!!!

I met Chuck outside Whole Foods. he was struggling to place his groceries in his vehicle. He allowed me to help when I offered. We chatted a moment and laughed much. When I came out from my shopping a message was on my car asking if he could call me & did I enjoy concerts. Offering "references upon request." He made me smile for days! I am sorry to find out he passed soon after. Wat a delightful human being.

Dr. Chuck was a great doctor, mentor and friend. He will truly be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. Your dad and I reconnected a few years ago and had wonderful conversations about our past and how lucky we both felt to have known each other. He was truly a wonderful man. May God bless you all. Tracey
