Dear Edie: Diana and I were very saddened to read of Charlie's death in today's Globe, and we will both miss him very much. We always looked forward to seeing you both after we met on the HAA trip to Indonesia.
We hope that he did not suffer too long a final illness and we will look forward to seeing you next summmer if at all possible for you to come back to South Dartmouth.
