Uncle Chuck...it has probably been at least 20 years, or more, since I've seen you, but your face and spirit, cannot be forgotten. In hearing of your passing, so many memories came rushing out of storage, and are still doing so. You were the most fierce Yahtzee opponent I've ever faced. You were always a jokester and I can't recall a time that you weren't smiling. I have many fond memories of visiting Uncle Chuck over the years. He always enjoyed talking with us kids and taking us to visit the city and all the museums. He had the best laugh. He loved beer and football. He will be missed. I was blessed to have him as an uncle.

Uncle Chuck was a gentle soul that loved life. He had a smile that lit up a room, an infectious laugh and was a great uncle. I loved watching him rock out to Janis Joplin when he played her songs. His sense of humor was wonderful and I loved the role he played at my grandparents 50 wedding anniversary when he officiated over the mock ceremony, it was just perfect. I cherish the times we spent together so many years ago and hold those memories very dear. I am so thankful that he touched my life.
