Special thoughts & memories of Charlie Rimer. He was our cousin & was a loving member of our family. He was always positive, kind, caring & we knew that he would be successful at anything he decided to do. As we all grew up in Concord & attended school at CHS (my brother, Maurice Allen, Jr.) and I was his student. Mom (Bea Allen, organist at Forest Hill Methodist Church for 40+ years) always went to Esther Rimers' home each Christmas morning right after we got up. She...

Amazing human being. Friend of our family, cousin, man of God, talented & dedicated educator. Loved by all at Forest Hill Methodist Church & was one of the kindest & gentle men I ever knew. Heaven shines brighter today & so many of our family welcomed him & God said, "Well Done Thy Good & Faithful Servant".

Coach Rimer was my teacher when I was in 8th grade at CHS. He was a great teacher and enjoyed students and high school life. We did, however, watch many Spider football films! Remembering him with affection. Rest in peace, Coach Bev Joyner Sherrill

What an awesome life Mr. Rimer had. We read his obituary with such admiration. With honor and pride he served the Lord, his country, his community, his students and his family. He is an example to each of us. We know you are so proud to be his family. Steve and I are so sorry you had to say goodbye. If we could tell him goodbye, we would say
"Well done, Mr. Rimer".
