Not sure what to say?

Dear Nell and "girls," I know you are missing the kind, elegant gentleman in your lives. I too am missing him. He was such a significant part of my youth. His impact on me is just one example of the innumerable Good he accomplished. One particular sermon he preached at First Baptist Pineville set me back on the Way. His love of books was absorbed by me through his supervision at the Lousiana College Library. And his funny, sweet antics with Nell in their Pineville home showed me...

I am so sorry. Br. Sally was quite a gentleman.

I will keep all of you in my prayers.
I have so many fond memories of your family.

Mrs. Nell, Susan and Cindy,

I was so sad to hear of Br. Salley's passing. It has been so many years, but the impact your family had my life has never been nor will it ever be forgotten. So much strength, peace, and love was received from your family, and for that I will be forever grateful.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

To Nell, Susan, Cindy, and Sarah,

I was with great saddness that I learned of Landrum passing. While I had not been in touch with him frequently since he and Nell moved to Nashville, I nevertheless continued to regard him as Christian gentleman and librarian.
