HICKMAN, Charlotte Gwilliams, age 88, of 820 Rose Ave., Clifton Forge, died Friday, April 5, 2013 at LewisGale Hospital - Alleghany, in Low Moor. She was born on August 6, 1924 in Huntington, W.Va., to the late Lloyd and Tressie Rowsey Gwilliams. She was a retired registered nurse. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Lloyd Edward "Eddie" Hickman; a sister, Jean Lomasney; two brothers, "Bud" Gwilliams and Paul Gwilliams; and a grandson, Christopher Hickman. She is survived by her husband, Allen Hickman, of Clifton Forge; two children, Bonnie Yopp and her husband, Jimmy, and David Hickman and his wife, Gayle, all of Richmond; a granddaughter, Courtney Hickman; a grandson, Jason Yopp; a number of nieces and nephews; and her companion, "DeeDee." A funeral service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Rev. Glenn Clements officiating. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home.
