Chuckie Holstein was an American original. She is the lived embodiment of true love and devotion to the people and causes she engaged with. I loved Chuckie and she loved moving mountains to make way for even higher pursuits. Her impact on Central New is immeasurable. Her spirit will endure for generations. Well done Chuckie.

Ms. Chuckie was a fabulous contribution to the City of Syracuse and CNY overall. It was an honor to know her and a blessing work for the Common Good along side her. She was a triumphant leader! Assursing the call for people who were will to listen and care about making a Community a better place to live could grow and prosper. Ms. Charlotte (She told me often to call her Chukie, but I respected her volume of WORK to not honor her...I REALLY wanted to say Mrs. Holstein) impacted my life when I was hired to work for the City during the Young administration. From that day, she would send me a note, an email and or see me at a public gathering or at an event at the Everson and would say, "I see you! Your WORKING! Keep up the WORKING!" I admit I really didn´t fully understand her statement, but now I do...many "work"...
