Memorial services for Cherie Jon Harris, 52, of Tyler, will be held on Monday, July 5, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Jackson's Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home in Tyler, with Pastor Sam Deville officiating.

Cherie passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021 in Tyler surrounded by her loved ones, after a short battle with cancer.

She grew up in Tyler and remained very close to her family and childhood friends.  She enjoyed riding horses and loved all animals.  Cherie was very charismatic, creative, funny and loving.  She was very intentional in caring for others and keeping everyone close.  She took care of many elderly people as a CNA.  Most importantly, she was a mother.

Cherie was preceded in death by her mother and father, John, II and Charlsie Bell; sister, Michelle Bell and her aunts and grandparents.

She is survived by her daughters, Brennan and Brook Harris; sisters, Daphne Burns and Missy Lade; brother, John Bell, III; nieces and nephews, Danielle Conner, Christopher Burns and Brandy Parker and uncle, Lonnie Murray.
