Not sure what to say?

On behalf of the Abel family - June, Jim, Martin and families - we want to express our sincere condolences to Michelle and daughters and to Linda and Joan. Our families go back decades, and Chris and I were in grade school, cubs, scouts and Sunday school together growing up in Etobicoke. We all have very fond memories of Chris - a lovely guy in all respects.

My sincerest condolences to the loved ones of Mr. Hatch. Danielle, I wish to reach out to you in particular. I'm not sure if you remember me, but I sure have fond memories of my years spent with you. I began babysitting you just after you were born, until you were about 6 years old and then I had to head off to University. My little brother Mark had a hand in taking care of you after that. Your family has been a topic of conversation in my family for a number of years. Both of your...

Chris and I became lifelong friends at the age of 4. We always kept in touch and we referred to each other as "my oldest friend". We were always there for each other and Chris gave me much needed support on the death of my husband 7 months ago. I will miss you always Chris.

I grew up with the Hatch family. Doug, my pal and Chris the little brother with the unmistakeable "Hatch" smile ever present. I watched him grow up at St. George's in the junior golf program. Reading this sad news, it is apparent that although we grow as individuals, we never change our nature. Chris...a kind and gentle soul at the age of 10, the age of 20 and eternity. I always enjoyed running into him and catching up. This is a tragic as loss as both Chris and Doug have left...

Dawna and I are saddened to learn that Chris had died. I was a friend of his throughout university years and for several years thereafter. Our interests diverged but I had many fond memories of Chris and his family for as long as I knew them. My condolences to his wife and kids.

The Lohbihler family

This is such sad news. We met Chris, Debbie, and Dani when our kids became friends in kindergarten. The girls were good friends throughout elementary school, but later lost touch. We have always remembered Chris and Dani fondly and hoped that they were well.
Sending condolences to the family and special loving thoughts to Dani. Dani our hearts are with you at this very difficult time and wishing you peace and comfort in the loving memories of your dad
The Ward family.

Our family lived across the street from Chris's parents for many years. We came to know the four Hatch kids to varying degrees and have nothing but good things to say about the family as our neighbours. We were shocked and saddened to read that Chris had died (we didn't know he'd been predeceased by his brother). We hope that countless good memories bring comfort and peace to everyone in Chris's family.

The Zucchiatti Family

I went to elementary and high school with Chris, later enjoyed reconnecting with Chris and his wife at an elementary school reunion. Please accept my condolences at this sad time, Chris will be missed, treasuring your good memories.

Please except my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Chris Hatch. May you find comfort knowing that God's word comforts all who mourn (John 6:40)
