Christopher Michael "Chris" Ball

Christopher Michael “Chris” Ball, age 21, of Middletown, Virginia, died Friday, September 19, 2003 in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Mr. Ball was born on November 12, 1981 in Fairfax, Virginia, the son of Michael Joseph and Frances Harshey Ball. He was a student at James Madison University, where he was a member of the James Madison Rugby Club.

Surviving with his parents, are his maternal grandparents, John and Virginia M. Harshey of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his paternal grandmother, Phyllis Louise Ball of Falls Church, Virginia; his step-grandmother, Toyoko Ball of Atlanta, Georgia; and three brothers, Joshua Matthew Ball of Winchester, Virginia, Zachery Andrew Ball of Piza, Italy, and Michael Jacob Ball of Powhatan, Virginia and other family, teammates and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 P.M on Tuesday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with the Reverend Kathleen Work officiating.

The family will receive friends at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel on Monday evening from 7:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M.
