Christopher Deaver

Waynesville, Christopher "Chris" Deaver, age 26, of Pineview Drive, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital. He was a native of Haywood County and was the son of Derwin and Karen Haney Deaver. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Dennis Robert Deaver and maternal grandfather Richard Haney. Christopher was a Free Lance Artist and enjoyed painting, drawing, riding his bike, fishing, hanging out with friends and making people laugh. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Juanita Cook and paternal grandmother, Joyce Deaver, both of Waynesville; one sister, Crystal Silver and her husband Jordan of Candler; niece McKenna, several aunts, uncles and cousins and his girlfriend Mandy and her children Brody and Logan. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2012 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Reverend Rhonda Haney and Reverend Tim Pullin will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Chris we love you and will miss you.
