Feerick Funeral Home - Shorewood Obituary

Left us too soon, on July 17, 2017, at the age of 29. Beloved son of Ann (Frederick Cibik) Boyd. Loving brother of Katy (George Ananchev) Fleischman, Cassie (Charlie Behrens) Cibik, and Fred (Flynn) Cibik. Fun loving uncle of Avery Cibik. Much-loved friend of Becca Hazel.  Cherished grandson of the late Dr. Andrew and Anita Boyd. Further survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Christopher was born in California and always had an affinity for all things Californian. He attended elementary school and half of high school in Shorewood, Wisconsin, and graduated high school in San Luis Obispo, California. Ever since Christopher was young boy he had a passion and love for all the beauty in nature, especially the ocean. He attended UW-Milwaukee where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences. He had many interests and particularly enjoyed cooking. Christopher was a bright, clever, creative and above all, kind-hearted person.

We thank you Christopher for all the joy and beauty you brought into our lives.  While we will miss you terribly, we will forever love you and trust that you will find joy, peace and freedom in your new journey.

Private services will be held at a later date. A memorial trust has been established in Christopher’s name. The trust will be used by his family to honor his life and memory. In lieu of flowers, a memorial gift may be made to the Christopher J. Fleischman Memorial Fund, and mailed to North Shore Bank, 2301 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Cedarburg, WI 53012, or to any North Shore Bank location.

Not sure what to say?

Chris was always one of my funniest friends. I can think of so many good times and memories with him like working at Koppa's and just goofin around in Milwaukee. This is such a shock to hear of his passing. I'm sad we lost touch over the years. He will be missed :(

Ann, So sad to hear about the loss of your Son. Still remember that day at Atwater Beach when we ran into each other with our kids. A voice from your distant past, Gary from the Dos Bandidos days. I;m still in touch with Jim Salsini and he wants to know you're in his thoughts as you are in mine. So sorry, Gary

Dear Ann and Family,
I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of Christopher's death. Please accept my sincere condolences. I have fond memories of Christopher as a young boy letting me practice my school psychology testing skills on him during graduate school. I knew then he was a kind and gentle soul and that Ann, you loved him dearly. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.
Sincerely,
Corrie Porter
