Big Chris: Today is your birthday and though you are not living here with us, you are truly living because you are with the Lord. We do not understand why you were taken from us so soon, but there is comfort in knowing where you are and that we will see you again. So many memories, so much joy, so much laughter. You will always be with us.

Chris was such a nice all-around kid. I saw him a few years ago and he, along with the other basketball players, had changed from teenager to man -- a gentleman and a GENTLE man. I miss the family we all became through the four years of b-ball. It was hard enough losing mothers from the team; but it was shocking to lose one of the players. I have no doubt that Jesse's, Scott's and Steve's moms are taking care Chris.

Christophers birthday is September6.He would have been 35 years old. We all miss and love him more than ever. Please remember him by thinking of an antecdote or memory about him. You need not post it, just think about him. Thank you

To the Lindley family: I had Mrs. Lindley as my 5th or 6th grade teacher back at Greenwood Elem. I can remember when Chris would come in to visit; what a great kid he was back in those days. As we grew older, I remember reading articles and hearing about his great career ahead of him. He is an awesome person, inside and out; someone your family has to hold on to forever. He may not be here in person with us but he's in your hearts each and everyday; you have great memories to continue to...

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. He was such a kind and wonderful person and could always bring a smile to your face. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I want to express my deepest sympathy on the passing of Chris. I remember when he was born. His mother was my 5th grade teacher at woodland Elementary whom I admired very much. I will keep you in my prayers and hope you all are doing well.
