CHRISTOPHER MCCARY

Chris, and I were members of the 513th Security Police Squadron at RAF Mildenhall, UK. We became friends. instantly when we met. In 1981 we were teenagers from Alabama and Georgia respectively. Chris was such a kind, generous, and humorous person. I am deeply saddened that my buddy was called home to be with the Lord fifteen years ago; I'm devastated that I didn't have an opportunity to pay homage. Chris became a good friend of mine. I also knew him as C-Mac. We met when I first arrived in Ga. back in 1997. I distictly remember him because his uniform was immaculate. We also played dominoes together. We talked about life, the military and just living. Although we didn't get to hang out that often he always invited me regardless of whose house he was at. I recently left GA. in July and he talked to me about where I was going. I am deeply saddened but realize that God makes no mistakes. I...

I worked for Chris in 2001-02 in the midst of the 9/11 crisis. Ironically, my spouse worked with him as a "cop" in Turkey in the mid 90s. We are both proud to have known him. God Bless.
