Just returned from Cindy's funeral. How loved she was by her family and friends. Louis gave an eloquent and heartfelt eulogy. Cindy would have been bursting with pride. I first met Cindy at Lutherville Elementary where we were both active in the PTA. We baby sat for each other, planned PTA activities and most of all shared a friendship spanning thirty some years. After Lutherville our lives took different directions but Cindy got myself and other Lutherville Moms back together through the book club. That was a blessing. I will always remember Cindy as a smart, feisty, warm, humorous woman who still had that gracious Southern Charm. I will miss her. My sympathies to her wonderful family. Love Libby Lewandowski

To Mr Shock, Ron, Tom, Lewis and your beautiful family, our thoughts are with you during this difficult time. We have wonderful memories of many weekend nights and Saturday afternoons hanging out in the living room talking and laughing with Mrs Shock while waiting for Ron to finish getting ready. Her kindness was immeasurable, her smile was contagious and she always had a good meal available if you were hungry. Thank you for always making us feel welcome.

I met Mrs. Shock when I became close friends with her son Thomas, years ago. The first impressions on me were her smile and happy attitude...and that will always stay with me. God Bless.

I worked on the school closing committee with Cindy. We had so much fun together. She could make me laugh no matter what was going wrong. I loved her stories about her children. She had such a sense of humor about them in the best possible way. She set a good example to me about how to be a good Mom and no one loved her children and grandchildren more than she did. Her children were so blessed to have her as a Mom. Even though over the years I didn't see her as much, Cindy was always one of my favorite people. A conversation with her was always interesting, information and fun! Ron, Ron, Tom and Lou, I am so sorry. Susan Parks

I first met Cindy because our sons went to school together. It was at York Manor Swim Club, however, where the conversations and laughter we shared and the wise advice I received from this smart, sassy woman blossomed into friendship. I must mention, too, the hours of fun my mother and I spent with Cindy as patrons of C's Closet and her shop at Shawan - bright chatter and clothing and accessories for our busy lives, made happier because of Cindy's immense talent and good will. Thank you, Cindy, for countless happy memories, which will live in my heart forever and make me smile.

Cindy was such an interesting, smart and enthusiastic woman. I knew her through our book club. She always had an insightful and witty view on the book being reviewed. She will be missed by all. Judy Letcher

Our deepest condolences go to Ronald Sr., Ron Jr, Thomas and Lewis and their families on the loss of beloved Cindy. She was a woman of valor whose measure is beyond words. Our mutual grandchildren learned and grew at her feet and, we pray, carry the lessons she taught and the unending love she lavished with them forever. We miss Cindy and pray that her memory will always be for a blessing to those who knew, loved and honored her.
