Please accept my sincerest sympathy on the death of your mom. I have very fond memories of Claire and her sidekick Jeanne at the front desk as volunteers at LVH- Muhlenberg when I was the Director of Volunteer Services there. Claire's wit was always appreciated and I know she will be greatly missed.

Dear Mary Ann, John and Family,

We're so sorry to hear of Claire's passing. She will be missed dearly by so many of us. Mary Ann, I always loved your mom's quick wit and sense of humor - she really seemed to enjoy life and always had a positive outlook. I'll especially remember her at cookie-baking time - she had come to bake for so many years! I also remember her as one of my mom's traveling pals. I'm not sure how many trips they took together, but this picture is from a trip to...

In 1988 I started working 3-11 at MHC and would sit in the cafeteria and listen to them having a fabulous time laughing and chatting- Claire, Jean and Shirley. It wasn't too long that they invited me to join them and I became a part of their " posse". Some shifts were difficult on my unit and I would look foreword to those dinner breaks, just a half an hour to laugh and be among dear friends...if I didn't make it down to lunch, inevitably Claire or Jean would wander up to my unit...

What a nice picture of a beautiful lady! You were lucky to have her for so long. And yes her quick wit will be long remembered.
