Not sure what to say?

Clara May was our cousin, more like an aunt. She cared for our mother during the final months of her life, visiting frequently and keeping my sister and me informed as we lived hundreds of miles apart. As she grew older we grew closer. She was a most independent woman, yet put the needs of others before her. Our family will greatly miss her yet we are thankful that she did not suffer longer than she did. Her final days were not pleasant for her. Yet she now has found peace with God and we...

Clara May was one of a kind. A loving and caring cousin, more like our aunt, who cared for Dan's mother while Dan's sister and he were living hundreds of miles away. Her home was always a welccming place to our family including Sherrill's mom. . Our children especially appreciated and admired her fierce Independence. Yet she cast her total dependence, especially during her final and painful days, on our God.

Clara May was a dear friend of my parents, Dabney Phillips and Wilma Adams Phillips, from about 1940. At Donelson Church of Christ and David Lipscomb. She enriched all our lives.

Rember Clara May as my Sunday School teacher at Donelson Church of Christ

She was one of my favorite teachers at Cohn High. Always willing to help her students.

One of the few teachers that had a great impact on my life. She wrote in my annual the following, " time flies Bill, make the best of it." How true those words were!! A special and wonderful person who has impacted many young peoples lives over her teaching years. Bill Akers, Cohn High Class of 1959

I remember Mrs. Benedict from Cohn HighSchool from 1953 to 1958 when I graduated. She was a very sweet teacher. I lost contact with her after school. Seems she continued with a wonderful life after she left Cohn.

good lady and great no- nonsense teacher. known her since i was a little kid

Sorry for your loss. May you find peace and hope in the days ahead by trusting in God. Romans 15:13
