Not sure what to say?

Dear Cathy and Carroll
Kris and I were blessed to know The Judge and your Mom; unfortuntanley, for only a much too short period to time! Quickly, we became close friends and frequently talked, hunted birds and enjoyed a couple of Dallas Cowboy games together. Their strength of character and devotion to their each other has been an inspritation. I told them both, in person and on the telephone--that we loved them. We share in your pain, but more importantly, please remember--THEY made...

Dear Cathy,

I am very sorry for your loss. Please know that I am thinking of you and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Cathy and Carroll, we were so sorry to hear that you have lost your mother. Jaim and Caluda were dear friends of ours for over 25 years. We spent time together at Elk Creek and here in Center Point. They are both missed. God bless. Jim and Kay Hayes

Dear Cathy,

After seeing the picture of your Mom and reading about her life, I now know where you get your beauty, brains and compassion. I am so sorry that your Mom and Dad have both passed so quickly but I am so thankful you are a part of my life. I am just sorry that I can't be there wednesday.

Knowing Clauda and Jaim has been a highlight of my life. Clauda was smart, spunky, full of life and humor, and she possessed great wisdom. We will miss her every day. The only consolation is knowing how difficult it would have been for her to carry on without her true love. I am blessed to have known her, and her memory will live on in all of us. Kerry's and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Cathy and Carroll,
Clauda was such a beloved person in our family and will be missed. We loved being with Jaim and Clauda on our trips. We will miss them--I think of Allene and Claudene and how much they loved one another. Clauda was a special lady, just like Allene. What great memories we have of them all. Our love to you and your families. We are sorry we will not be able to be there for the service, but please know you have our prayers and love.

Dear Carroll and Cathy,

Your mother will always be considered my favorite 1st cousin. I love her and Jaim dearily.

Regretably, I am unable to attend the memorial service tomorrow. My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you.

With deepest sympathy,
Alexis Carroll Wells

Clauda Baker was a wonderful lady, wife, mother, grandmother and community leader. She and Judge James A. were "the salt of the Earth". She and her friendly smile will be missed. Sincere condolences to the entire Family.
