Dear Dr. Granata and Family: Words cannot express our sadness and shock on the untimely death of Claudia. We remember meeting you and Claudia when Chris and Alex were freshman on the Bowdoin Swim Team. We had many wonderful conversations and spent many hours sitting by the pool cheering for our "boys". We all were so pleased that you were able to attend the graduation party and we could visit with you all. Claudia was a gentle and caring person and our hope is that you all will...

Dear Dr. Granata and family, I can hardly find the words to express how shocked and saddened I am at this untimely and tragic loss. Claudia was a delight to know and the singularly most lovely student to ever grace my piano bench. I will not soon forget her.

"My own consolation lies in knowing that it was NOT the will of God that Claudia die; God's heart was the first of all our hearts to break" [Rev. William Sloane Coffin]

...and so it seems. Rest in peace,...

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy and hopes you and your family will find the path to some peace. You are in the thoughts and prayers of many.
