Coach Starnes was a great football coach and mentor for all the young men he encountered throughout his tenure at East High School. Class of 1973

In your hour of sadness may God keep each of you. I remember Coach Starnes from my years at Cameron. He was my 12th grade homeroom teacher. I can remember his smile. Keep your memories of him alive and he will live forever in your hearts and mind. God bless!

Coach Starnes was a wonderful football coach and a great teacher. He is and will forever be a Cameron High School legend.
