Not sure what to say?

Our deepest condolences to the Quinlans, and to the family and friends of Pat. My mother (Della Gehl) often read Pat's letters to us so we could share his insight and experience.

God Bless and warm regards from Brussels.

I was privileged to know Pat Quinlan for the last 18 years. We shared a love of writing and a deep interest in the Middle East. He was working on his memoirs before his death and he had prepared a book manuscript about his exciting foreign service career. I am thankful that he asked me to help edit the book, which gave me the opportunity to read it. It is a fascinating account of Pat and Louise Quinlan's life abroad (and at home) in the foreign service. I only wish he had lived long enough to...

Here's another librarian, remembering Pat Quinlan with great fondness. He was a great promoter of libraries, and passionate about many things. That twinkle in his eye and ever-present smile will be missed.

Louise; So sorry to of Pat's passing. We'll talk by phone soon. Jim

It was a pleasure to know Pat for the past 13 years during my periodic visit to the Twin Cities. I wish I had the opportunity to serve with him in the Foreign Service, but our paths unfortunately did not cross until our respective retirements.

God be with you, Pat.

It was a pleasure and a privilege to get to know you and to talk with you so often over the last nine years here at the Southdale Library. I will greatly miss your gentle humor, knowledge and wisdom.
