Vickers Leslie Funeral Home - Leslie Obituary

The Sloan family is saddened to announce the sudden passing due to natural causes of Clifford L. Sloan, age 62, of Webberville, Michigan. Cliff was born on May 9, 1957 in Maryville, Tennessee to Clifford R. and Lennie Sloan. Shortly after graduating high school, he enlisted in the Navy where he served for 15 years. Cliff served his country proudly during both Desert Storm and the Gulf War. Most recently, he was employed by Kildea Marathon in Williamston, Michigan, where he loved to interact with the community. He loved model trains and belonged to the Capital Area Railway Society. As a club member, he was able to share his love of trains with families and children at many organizations and museums. Cliff also enjoyed creating beautiful quilts and riding his bike on the trails of Michigan.

He is survived by his mother, Lennie Elizabeth (Powell) Sloan; sisters: Rachel (Mark) Carson, Pamela Sloan, and Susan (Robert) Boshears; brother-in-law, Brian (Katrina) Rockwell; nieces and nephews: Mark Carson Jr., Jami (Earle Perry) Carson, Nicole Rockwell, Paige Boshears, and Samantha Boshears; and great-nephews, Mark Carson III, Riley Carson, and Cecil Carson.
