To express our deep sympathy to you on your loss. We thank Dr. Phillips for serving our country the U.S. Army Air Corps during WW II as a gunnery instructor. We also thank Dr. Phillips for all his contributions to Texas A&M University as well as the Bryan/College Station area that he & his wife contributed too. You both were members of "the greatest generation".

We are very sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. He was a great supporter of KAMU and the community. Please know that we as well as the community will miss him dearly.

I am sorry to hear of his death. I know he made an enormous difference to the professional culture of Texas A&M, and he was always a cheerful and kind presence for me as I was growing up.

Clint was both a valued colleague and great friend in our shared philatelic habit (stamp collecting). We both collected advanced material related to Canada. We were members of a great Texas group of collectors focusing on Canada, the Prairie Beaver Chapter of the British North America Philatelic Society, of which he was one of the founding members and a regular participant until his incapacitation.
