It has been a year since Clyde's passing but when ever I am speaking to another retired cop, Clyde's and will come up, always in a humorous story. Great guy. He is sorely missed.

I worked with Clyde several times when I was a a rookie in 1970. He was experienced, knew how to handle situations and taught me a few things. I didn't know he was a marine. I was also a marine and we never shared that between us. I wished we had. May he rest in peace. Ron Parkyn HPD retired

I was saddened to hear that your father had passed. My sincere condolences to the family of Officer Clyde Rogers, as my family has know him back in the 60's and 70's. My father Edgar Robinson was a police officer in Hartford along with Clyde Rogers. I remember his children Robin and Bruce, and their mother Joan, also their cousin Michelle and her mother Jackie. We had lots of good times growing up together.
