Not sure what to say?

I'm just finding about Colleen's passing now. When I first moved to Hatfield Colleen was my neighbor in the same building for almost ten years. She was the best neighbor I could ever have. She made me feel like a part of her extended family. She was very hospitable and hosted parties for the luminarium and other special occassions for family and friends, for which there were many guests. When I had to travel out of town it was no problem to ask her to feed my cat. I miss you Colleen.

I didn't work directly with her, but she was very helpful to me in Receiving over the years while she worked for Big Y. She was always pleasant and knowledgeable. We sent each other holiday messages every year through email. I will miss her cheerful voice greeting me over the phone. The world is a little less brighter today.

To say that Colleen was an important figure during an pivotal time in my life would be an understatement. Colleen's love, generosity, fierce devotion, and quick wits led me to become who I am today, and I couldn't be more glad to have known her. She was a "grandma" to my kids whenever they would visit us in the office, and she was one of my most dependable allies in my career. It's hard to imagine a light like hers no longer being around in this world, but for all of the good that she has...

Colleen was like a Mother to everyone she met. I was fortunate to work with her for the last 10 years. She had the best stories to share, and a lot of my personal growth was due to her. It is going to be hard not calling her for advice, She was amazing, and will be heavily missed.

I had the deep pleasure of knowing Colleen for many years at Big Y. Everytime without fail when you called her, she answered the phone genuinely happy to hear from you and wanted to help you. I am so sorry for your loss, she will be missed.

A woman like no other...A friend and some you enjoyed speaking to a 5 am. Will be missed.
