Colleen Lipscomb Davidson, 99, resident of Albuquerque, formerly of Springfield, MO, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2010. She is survived by her son; Bob Davidson and wife Gail of Albuquerque and Red River, NM; daughter, Anna Davidson Trotter of Stuart, FL; grandchildren; Leslie Davidson Reynolds of Albuquerque, NM, Allen Davidson of Nevada, MO, and Whitney Davidson Sturges and husband Jason of Chandler, AZ; great-grandchildren, Kate Reynolds, Brianna Davidson, Mellissa Davidson, Jake Sturges, Max Sturges, and Alex Garrett; niece, Joanne Lowe and husband Bill, and nephew, Gary Lipscomb and wife Betty. Colleen was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Louren "Racy" G. Davidson, in 1999, and her son, Thomas Louren Davidson in 1996. Colleen was born in Liberal, MO on February 1, 1911. She and Racy were long time residents of Springfield, MO. where she served as secretary for his law practice. They relocated to Albuquerque in the late 90’s. Colleen loved to entertain people in her home and had a reputation as a wonderful cook and hostess. Some of her greatest memories came from spending time with family in their summer cottage in Rockaway Beach, MO. She was much loved by her family and will always be remembered for her graciousness and humor. Graveside service will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Monday, December 13, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. Should friends desire, contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
